Dark Energy Kustom Trim Works began in a home garage in 1989, with the reupholstery of a single brown vinyl kitchen chair and a vision to become the benchmark for quality, artistic creation and job satisfaction. Since then, we have grown to a second-generation family business, and our passion and dedication to our craft have seen us produce and build many award-winning interiors and build relationships with our valued customers.

In our 35 years, Dark Energy Kustom Trim Works has produced and restored interiors for many rare motorcars. Including numerous Rolls-Royce Silver Ghosts, Bentleys, Ferraris, and Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwings and roadsters. As well as Australian icons like Ford GT Falcons, Holden Monaros and Torana SLR5000s. 

Along the way, we have been fortunate to partner with other top builders and jointly have been part of many award-winning cars. Our work has won awards and been on display at Pebble Beach USA, Motorclassica Australia, Australian Street Rod of the Year, MotorEx and has been showcased at the Rare Trades exhibition.
